Dry Willow Products
Dried willow branches provide the perfect medium for weaving willow baskets, furniture, and wreaths. Simply, soak dried willow in water to make the willow pliable again and ready for weaving.
Our willow branches, sticks, or rods are dried in a covered structure after being harvested. This ensures they will retain their thickness, integrity, and tension for best use in weaving willow baskets, sculptures, and fencing. Growing straight willow sticks requires yearly coppicing. At Living Willow Farm, we cut yearly in order to properly regenerate straight rods of various lengths which are then sorted to length and bundled. Willow branch color varies by the variety grown, as well as growing conditions. The willow branches also vary in thickness and strength depending on species and growing season.

Great for teaching, practicing, and sculpture work. These rods are from our original willow plantings, which have diminished in quality, and as a result, we are offering them at a discount before we remove the fields. Our new fields are providing prime first-quality weaving material, which is limited in supply as we approach the mid-summer months.
Packing, insurance, and shipping are included.
